Therapy Services

I provide therapy to adolescents and adults to address the following:

  • ADHD
  • Mood Regulation Struggles
  • Anxiety
  • Learning Differences
  • Neurodivergent Experiences
  • Interpersonal Conflicts
  • Depression

I  want to help my clients identify their strengths and support their healthy coping strategies. Using evidence-based therapy approaches we will:

  • Understand your current learning and performance/achievement patterns
  • Explore how you see and evaluate yourself
  • Examine how you resolve difficulties, experience emotions, and make life decisions
  • Develop organizational strategies, good habits, and new beliefs about your abilities
  • Employ technology tools to help you feel more organized and less stressed
  • Promote your feelings of confidence and inner strength

My treatment approach is based on cognitive-behavioral therapy. CBT is a form of treatment that focuses on examining the relationships between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By exploring patterns of thinking, individuals can gain clarity and improve coping. I employ other treatment strategies, such as Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness techniques, that help people be more deliberate about the choices they make.

My therapy sessions begin with an initial intake session. During this 75-minute meeting, we will discuss the issues that have led you to seek help, we will discuss relevant clinical history, and we will develop a treatment plan. My therapy sessions are 55 minutes long and usually occur once a week initially. Eventually, they may progress to twice a month or monthly sessions, depending on your needs.

Supporting Adult Professionals

I provide support to adult professionals in their quest to find more productivity and balance in their lives. In our work together, we will review your daily routines, we will discuss the areas of your work and job that feel challenging, and explore your interests and how to incorporate joyful activities into your life. Some of the common themes of this focused therapy include burnout, work-place interactions, and work efficiency.

Tailored Therapy for Emerging Adults

I specialize in working with young adults who are "struggling to launch" into financial independence or complete their academic endeavors. In this specialized therapy, I address emotional barriers hindering progress, assist in goal identification, and provide organizational strategies to support their journey toward finding work, continuing education, being financially independent, and fostering independence.
